Privacy policy

ProducerBots is a free directory. We collect as little as we can, and we don't sell personal data.

What we collect

• Search queries. What you type into the search box is sent to our server to find matching prompts and tools. Queries are anonymous: we don't ask who you are.
• Thumbs ratings. If you rate a result 👍 or 👎, we store the rating, the query it was for, the suggested tools and any optional comment you add.
• Contact and sponsor forms. If you send the contact form or the sponsor form, we store what you enter (such as your name, email and message) so we can read and reply to it.
• Newsletter signups. The newsletter is run on beehiiv. If you subscribe, your email address is handled by beehiiv under its own privacy policy, and you can unsubscribe anytime from any issue.

Search queries, ratings and form submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. To limit abuse we keep a short one-way hash of your IP address and browser type, not the address itself.

How we use it

To answer searches, improve results, reply to messages and prevent spam. We don't sell or rent personal data, and we don't use it for advertising profiles.

Affiliate links

Some links to vendor sites are affiliate links and are labeled. When you click one, the vendor may know you came from ProducerBots. What happens on the vendor's site is covered by their privacy policy.

Service providers

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. The newsletter is sent by beehiiv.
